Tortoise: Dwarf Cherryhead

The original breeding group is from Granada. They are in the same genis group as red-foot tortoises However they are quit a bit smaller. They enjoy a moist environment. Their haeds are cherry color as well as their legs and tail. Carapace is dark almost black with yellow-orange areolae,. Plastron is also blackish in color. Diet: Grasses, succulent plants and flowers, fruit, high fiber greens and vegies plus calaium There are differences however They have red-heads, dark carapace with gold color in each scoot and the plastron is black. Their size is smaller then a regular red-foot, they range from 7"-8" as adults. They are commonly refered to as dwarf. They are very personable. Diet is the same as a red-foot, vegetarian, loves fruit, and suculants such as eatable flowers and cacti
