Tortoise: Baby Radiated

The carapace is domed and dark brown or black in color with yellow or orange areolea from which extends 4 to 12 yellow or orange radiating stripes. The plastron has paired gulars that may protrude beyond the rim of the carapace, especially in males. Head id yellow, moderate in size and jaw is slightly hooked. Legs are yellow as well as the tail. Their origin is Madagascar. They are herbivorous, andfeed on grasses cacti, fruit and other succulents. They seem to prefer foods that are red.
